ARTSALWA X DARUL MAKMUR
We are honoured to announce that ArtSalwa was officially selected as the brand to represent the mimbar artwork for Darul Makmur Mosque here in Yishun, Singapore. This big project marks a significant milestone for us, both as a creative studio and as part of the local community—especially meaningful as I myself also from Yishun.

The mosque chose a resin artpiece for its mimbar feature, and I had the privilege of designing a custom masterpiece that reflects both elegance and spiritual depth. The selected Qur’anic verse is from Surah Al-Inshirah, which beautifully reminds us:
“So when you have finished (with your duties), then exert yourself (in worship), and to your Lord turn your attention.”
This verse was rendered in mirror gold laser-cut script, set against a gold-black marble resin backdrop, symbolizing strength, reflection, and divine submission. The artwork was meticulously built on a 2.4-metre plywood, with a 15mm resin thickness, all scaled to precise measurements tailored to the mosque’s interior.

The production phase took about a week of hands-on work, followed by a few more weeks of coordination and logistics to ensure seamless installation.

Alhamdulillah. To have my artwork featured so prominently in a place of worship is a personal and professional honour—a true lambang kebangaaan for myself and the team at ArtSalwa. We are grateful for the trust placed in us, and we hope this piece continues to inspire all who stand before it.
